Japan Visa

Short-stay tourist • relative visit • study

Visa overview

Japan requires a highly organised file with a precise day-by-day stay schedule. The file is combined into a single PDF per applicant under 10 MB and e-mailed to the consular section of the Embassy of Japan in Algeria at its official address; the embassy reviews it and, if complete, e-mails the filing appointment, the applicant then files the original documents in person, and the fee is paid when the passport is collected if approved.

Required documents

  • Current official form completed on computer and hand-signed
  • Valid passport with two facing blank pages + data-page copy
  • Recent 45×35 mm photo
  • Detailed day-by-day stay schedule (embassy template)
  • Verifiable return flight booking (a purchased ticket is not required)
