Entry and visa
Entry requirements depend on nationality and change over time. Always refer to Algeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Algerian consulate in your country of residence. RMDS Visa does not issue Algerian visas and represents no authority.
Getting around
Domestic flights link the north with Djanet, Tamanrasset and Ghardaïa. Trains serve the main northern cities; coaches and shared taxis are common. In the Sahara, trips are run with licensed agencies and guides. Check schedules with official operators.
